about
(taken from the interview with Pusher in Shock&Awe! #05)
Brief us about your song in the split, The Culture Shake.
An ode to multiculturism and funk parody. Breaking the mould. Try to see how far are our capabilities if we be a bit different. Any type of culture that revolves around any society is mainly social construct. Individuals in a society tend to lean too much on what's been brought upon their own culture, which leads them to be awkward towards the cultures of others. Each culture has their own customs, which in the end turns into rigid guidelines of how individuals should live their lives. What is emphasized in the song is rules can be bent as it is moulded by humans themselves.
The best thing to do is celebrate the diversity of culture and get the best out of the mix..
