about
(taken from the interview with Crimesce in Shock&Awe!#05)
What is the song Transgression is about?
I prefer for people to interpret their own ideas regarding lyrics but as for Transgression, it is just a personal form of emotional expression and a wishful thinking to be more confident in this world by saying what we believe and trying to be yourself no matter what other people say to you. We are mainly using shock value in our performance in order to provoke people. Even though it is useless to provoke people who don’t have anything to do with you, at least we gain more confidence in what we are doing.
We break the rules of norm. We go naked or in half nude, we get wasted and play a song in out of tune, we say blasphemous things just to piss people off. This is just another proof that being human, we are capable to be in control to not being controlled. Well, seems that breaking law is a fun thing to do. What a heck, rules are made to be broken anyway.
